Requirements

  • Strong organizational knowledge to be able to accomplish tasks with other functional areas.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle Financial and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
  • General knowledge and understanding of engineering terms and the relationship between drawings.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Completion of Grammar class.
  • Intermediate PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides project coordination assistance for all corporate engineering staff. Provides guidance to project managers throughout the company regarding policy and procedure.
  • Collects project spending and status information from corporate engineering staff and project managers located at facilities across the company. Summarizes the data into Excel spreadsheets used for quarterly reporting.
  • Processes all newly approved capital projects including notifications to project managers and addition of project details to the master spreadsheet used for project tracking.
  • Schedules meetings, presentations and conferences. This includes coordinating with project managers and stakeholders across the company to schedule weekly technical review meetings and project completion meetings.
  • Processes purchase requisitions utilizing EAM and Oracle.
  • Schedules business travel for corporate office engineering staff (company planes, rental cars, hotels, etc.).
  • Maintains documents of a standard and nonstandard format (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Is responsible for general fi ling of documents, including drawings, technical materials, and specification files.
  • Processes the email and calendar systems as requested for the Director of Corporate Engineering.
  • Proofreads technical documents, meeting minutes and other documents.
