About The Position

Johnson Venture Management Solutions, Inc. (JVM Solutions) is hiring an experienced Credentialing Administrative Assistant. The Credentialing & Administrative Assistant is a full-time position within the Human Resources department of the Company. This role serves as the company's primary resource for credentialing and background verification, responsible for ensuring that all staff hired by JVM Solutions meet applicable professional, regulatory, and contractual requirements prior to and throughout their employment. The primary and ongoing responsibilities of this role are the credentialing and primary source verification of all company personnel including clinical providers, administrative staff, and contract employees. This role ensures full compliance with applicable customer facility requirements, The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, NCQA guidelines, and federal contract obligations. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare credentialing or HR-related administrative experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple personnel files simultaneously with high accuracy and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, compile, review and complete the full credentialing process for all newly hired employees.
  • Maintain active credential files for all personnel throughout the duration of their employment.
  • Track credential expirations and proactively initiate renewal across the entire company workforce.
  • Ensure all personnel meet contractual, regulatory, and positional credentialing standards prior to deployment or assignment.
  • Coordinate directly with employees and providers to collect require documentation in a timely manner.
  • Verify professional licenses with applicable state medical, nursing and licensing boards.
  • Conduct primary source verification for all board certifications, registrations, education, training and records where applicable.
  • Document all verifications with date stamped audit ready records.
  • Initiate and track background screening for all new hires in coordination with the HR team.
  • Maintain organized, confidential records of all background verification outcomes.
  • Flag discrepancies or adverse findings to HR management for review and disposition.
  • Prepare and track privileging packets for clinical staff assigned to military treatment facilities.
  • Monitor Joint Commission compliance requirements for credentialed clinical personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and current data in credentialing software.
  • Update and maintain personnel records software tracking tools.
  • Generate and distribute expiration and compliance status reports to HR and leadership.
  • Support internal and external audits with organized, readily accessible documentation.
  • Assist with development of SOPs related to credentialing processes.
  • Support general administrative tasks to support the Company's back-office operations, as directed by HR Management including onboarding coordination, personnel file maintenance, and document preparation.
  • Calendar management, meeting scheduling, and internal communications support.
  • Data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, and report formatting.
  • Drafting business correspondence, templates and operational documents.
