The Administrative Assistant/AR provides assistance and performs accounts receivable duties. The position also accomplishes administrative tasks assigned to them by the CFO. Status: At-will employee, full-time, exempt Supervision: Supervision is given by the CEO, and the CFO/VP of Administration. Conditions of Employment: Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check. Candidate must meet the requirements of the full job description throughout the duration of employment with MariCorp U.S. and must follow all policies outlined in the employee handbook. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs accounts receivable duties. Assists with payroll functions of the organization. Supports receptionist as needed. Performs other duties, as required by the company. Other Important Functions: Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences for professional development as necessary. Attends and/or participates in company training. Interacts well with all levels of staff and management. Improve operational efficiencies. Due to the company having substantial trade secret information and this position having access to such information, the position requires that a confidentiality agreement be signed. Performs related administrative work as required. Travel: Out-of-town travel is not expected. Technical Experience: 1-2 years working in an office setting, with accounting experience preferred. Required Education and Certifications: Position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. An associate's degree is preferred. If operating a motor vehicle while on company business, job incumbents must possess a current Motor Vehicle Operator's License and maintain proper personal insurance coverage. Work with various accounting and other computer software including QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Outlook, and MIE Trak.
