Please Note: This position is budgeted to have a start date no sooner than January 1, 2026. Under the direction of the Permit Center Manager, the incumbent in this position will provide administrative support by way of tracking code compliance activities; maintain electronic records in the permit tracking system and paper files; assist with notices and citations; maintain record keeping and filing; respond to compliance related inquiries at the permit counter, and via telephone; assist in implementing community outreach activities. Incumbent will coordinate and perform a variety of complex administrative support and office coordination to assure smooth, timely, and efficient office operations for the Community and Economic Development Department; type and process records, reports, memos, and correspondence; process purchase requisitions, orders, budget documents and other information related to departmental operations and programs; maintain logs; answer phones and assist walk-in visitors for the City; research, analyze, and compile data and information for inclusion in reports.
