About The Position

Performs advanced, independent administrative work supporting and overseeing regional administrative operations for the Northwest Region, Division of Law Enforcement, ensuring compliance with state statutes, agency policy, and established procedures. Serves as the regional Purchasing Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing oversight, guidance, and quality control for procurement activities, including compliance with state contracts, vendor verification, and purchasing regulations. Coordinates and oversees the preparation, routing, approval, and submission of Purchase Order Requests (PORs), receipt of goods and services, and accurate invoice processing for timely payment. Provides functional oversight and backup support for GOC II and regional administrative operations to ensure continuity of service and consistent administrative coverage. Reviews and oversees officer travel authorizations and reimbursement submissions in STMS to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing. Maintains and oversees regional records and files in compliance with statutory, agency, and retention requirements and serves as the regional SME for records management. Coordinates and oversees uniform ordering, property management, inventory control, and expenditure tracking to ensure compliance with agency requirements, accountability, and budgetary controls. Identifies, communicates, and assists in resolving administrative and procedural issues impacting regional operations; collaborates with supervisors to recommend and support process improvements and coordinate work assignments. Performs special assignments as directed by the Regional Commander, Captain, and GOC II, including report preparation, data analysis, and management documentation, and performs other related duties as assigned.
