About The Position

Position will be at Centennial Hospital, 14200 E Arapahoe Rd, Centennial CO Shift will be Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 4:30p This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical care to meet the needs of the whole person. The Administrative Analyst performs clerical and receptionist duties in accordance with the mission and values of Medical Center of Aurora. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for greeting visitors at the control desk; answering telephones; scheduling add-on cases under the direction of the charge RN; maintaining clerical supplies and forms; and completing duties required for the daily operation of the unit. The Administrative Assistant assists the Charge Nurse and leadership with day-to-day duties and responsibilities as assigned. The Administrative Assistant participates in department performance improvement initiatives. Administrative Assistant demonstrates advanced skills and knowledge in operations, assisting charge RN in scheduling of urgent and emergent cases; staff assignments, and coordination of all departmental operations.

Requirements

  • 6 months previous administrative/clerical experience preferred
  • High School Graduate / GED

Responsibilities
