About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Administration Manager to lead a team focused on Multi-Employer Plans (MEPs) and Professional Employer Plans (PEPs). In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality client service, and drive process improvements across your team. You will mentor and develop staff while fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners. This role provides a chance to influence operational efficiency, deliver strategic goals, and enhance the overall client experience. Remote work provides flexibility while keeping you engaged with leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the retirement services industry, emphasizing client management and service.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, execute tasks under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of pension administration, plan documents, compliance testing, and government forms.
  • Proven independent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High ethical standards with a focus on maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and logical approach to tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel formulas and data manipulation.
  • Experience with MEPs and PEPs preferred.
  • Familiarity with Relius, FT Williams, and Salesforce systems is a plus.
  • ASPPA designations (QKA, QPA) preferred or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of Account Managers, managing hiring, onboarding, development, and performance.
  • Establish clear expectations, measure results, and hold team members accountable.
  • Address escalated client or employer issues directly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement processes, procedures, and controls to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify training needs, facilitate learning opportunities, and mentor staff.
  • Participate in client meetings, calls, and presentations to support the team and address issues.
  • Provide regular progress updates to upper management and execute special projects as needed.
  • Foster a culture of service excellence, motivation, and teamwork while promoting strategic and operational goals.
