About The Position

Our Anchorage Transportation, Guest Services, and Port Operations team is looking for an amazing individual to fill our Administration Manager position. You will oversee the division's payroll, human resources, financial transactions and reports.

Requirements

  • This job normally requires a professional level of knowledge in financial accounting equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree (accounting preferred). Demonstration of directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
  • This job normally requires four years of progressively responsible positions in accounting or finance.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment is required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.

  • Must be able to legally work in the United States.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized accounting and point-of-service systems.

  • Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, supervise and manage staff and guests requests/inquires.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management, employees and customers with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments, management, and staff.
  • Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including all company health and safety standards.
  • Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the motorcoach division daily financial transactions and reports.
  • Audits daily financial transactions and reports.
  • Responsible for the daily and monthly financial reporting.
  • Responsible for all seasonal employee onboarding that includes providing assistance and support for all recruiting, interviewing and hiring activities.
  • Provides HR Resources management and support.
  • Manage and process division payroll.
  • Manage and reconcile over the counter sales.
  • Supports the division manager with budget forecasting and reporting.
  • Oversees and supports general administrative and office related resources and processes.
  • Assists with the annual budget preparation and review.
  • Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies, objectives and applicable government laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for the recruiting, interviewing, training, employment, supervision, performance management, salary administration, and corrective action of directly assigned personnel.
