The College of Psychology & Liberal Arts at Florida Institute of Technology seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to serve as Budget Manager and Assistant to the Dean. This position plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Dean’s Office while providing comprehensive financial management for multiple budget cost centers. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to the Dean, managing complex administrative functions and independently overseeing budget tracking, reconciliation, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic academic environment. Key responsibilities include managing operating budgets, monitoring expenditures and resolving discrepancies, processing financial transactions, preparing budget projections and reports, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies. The position also coordinates high-level administrative activities for the Dean, supports faculty and departmental initiatives, and serves as a liaison to other offices on campus.
