About The Position

Mountain Youth Academy, a 120-bed residential treatment facility nestled in Mountain City, Tennessee, assists in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for young adolescent patients. The academy is seeking a meticulous and compassionate Admissions Coordinator to join its team. Mountain Youth Academy is a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Friendly, empathetic, and solution-oriented attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in admissions, customer service, healthcare, education, or administrative support preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment/admission.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collect, review, and process required applications, forms, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records in databases and filing systems.
  • Schedule interviews, tours, assessments, or appointments as needed.
  • Communicate admission decisions, next steps, and deadlines to applicants.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless onboarding/admission transitions.
  • Provide excellent customer service to applicants, families, and referral sources.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare reports and track admissions data as requested.
