We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to help support our affordable housing portfolio and contribute to our success. The ideal candidate will be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for serving others through affordable housing programs. The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support to the Regional Property Supervisor to ensure the efficient operation of the assigned affordable housing portfolio. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and excited to grow with a dynamic, fast-paced team.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
  • Customer-service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Nice To Haves

  • Yardi Voyager software experience is a plus
  • Previous or relevant experience in property management, specifically affordable housing, is a plus
  • Experience with rental assistance programs (HACLA, LAHSA, etc.) is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist Regional Property Supervisors with day-to-day property management duties for affordable housing properties
  • Process bills and make bank deposits
  • Interact with residents, onsite managers, supervisors, and office staff
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments as directed by Supervisor
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure privacy of sensitive information per company policy
  • Screen calls from residents, vendors, and managers
  • Manage incident reports, portfolio-wide violation correspondence, and assist with documentation related to rental assistance programs like HACLA, LAHSA, and other affordable housing programs
  • Perform additional administrative duties and assist with tasks as needed
