About The Position

JOB SUMMARY Provide administrative support for Quality Assurance. Enter customer complaints into eQMS system. Provide weekly customer complaint status updates. Conduct Country of Origin traceability for aluminum-containing structures. Create customer Certificates of Analysis/Conformance. Process customer complaint credit memos. Submit RM specifications to suppliers for review/approval signatures. Review vendor Certificates of Analysis and provide approval for receipt of raw materials. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform Country of Origin traceability for aluminum; will require knowledge of internal systems and processes to connect incoming raw material Certificates of Analysis (CoA) to outgoing finished goods. Initial data entry for customer complaints into electronic system; focus will be on Winston-Salem, but may include multi-site responsibility. Will include interaction with customers (external), customer service (internal), and sales (internal) to obtain relevant information in a timely manner. Create and issue credit memos as part of the customer complaint reconciliation process. Provide status updates regarding customer complaints to both internal and external customers. May include report generation from electronic complaint system. Perform material traceability to support customer complaint investigations. Process customer CoA as primary or secondary responsibility; will require extracting product data from electronic system and entering data into existing templates. May require editing or creating new templates. Process raw material Certificates of Analysis (CoA): compare CoA with RM Specs, accept/deny Lot prior to shipment receipt, resolve discrepancies and maintain CoA files. Request and coordinate new/revised Raw Material Specification (RM Spec) approvals and signatures by the suppliers. Resolve supplier exceptions with product development engineers. Enter and attach signed specifications in the appropriate database and maintain hard copies in files. Maintain Raw Material Supplier Directory database and update as needed. Complete customer surveys/questionnaires. Support management of Raw Material rejection process. Adhere to company safety and health rules. Contributes to a team effort by proactively assisting internal contacts. Attend training programs to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills. Maintains and protects proprietary information as it relates to the company and customers.
