About The Position

Teach Music 660R Graduate Choral Conducting to between 1 to 5 students during the fall 2026 semester only
Teach one-on-one, weekly applied private lessons to Music Major students in the choral conducting program

Requirements

• Master's degree in Music required. Doctoral degree in Music preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
• Prior experience teaching applied conducting lessons to undergraduate and/or graduate students required.
• Possess a solid understanding of gestural technique as taught in "Masterful Choral Conducting" (Stahlei/Hall)

• This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
