About The Position

Teach undergraduate course BIO 470: History and Philosophy of Biology Contributing to the intellectual life of the department through mentoring, curriculum development, and service Supporting the university’s mission and engaging constructively with students from diverse backgrounds This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Philosophy of Science, History and Philosophy of Science, Bioethics, or a related discipline. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Evidence of excellence in teaching and student engagement
  • Experience or interest in interdisciplinary approaches to biology and ethics
  • Relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
