About The Position
This is an Adjunct Professor position.
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications include a Masters or Ph.D. degree in mathematics, and at least one year of experience teaching upper elementary and middle school mathematics or high school mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities include teaching Modern Elementary Mathematics 1 and 2 to Education majors, and supervising three students doing pre-service teaching internships.
- Conduct a meet-and-greet orientation and a minimum of 4 visits per phase
- Observe and provide written and verbal feedback on instruction
- Review lesson plans and communicate with Mentor Teachers
- Submit evaluation data in Watermark and grades via BANNER
- Respond to concerns and support Intern growth through coaching
- Approve absences and report issues to the Director of Field Experiences
