About The Position

Houston Christian University seeks an Adjunct Professor to join the Department of Music with expertise in teaching applied voice lessons. The Mission of the College of Arts & Humanities is to provide for all university students robust, cross-disciplinary curricula that cultivate intellectual, moral, and aesthetic virtues within a Christian community. Requirements

• Applicants should have a MM, DMA, or PhD in Music.
• Successful candidates will possess the ability to teach courses in music from a Christian worldview and will demonstrate enthusiasm for our classical liberal arts core curriculum which includes embracing the need for these courses to complement each other.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility will be to teach applied voice lessons to both music majors and minors.
• Other duties may include teaching additional classes as needed.
