Adjunct- Mental Health Counseling
About The Position
Viterbo University's College of Engineering, Letters, and Sciences invites applications for adjunct faculty positions starting Fall 2025, to teach in one or both of the Master of Science programs: Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. The primary teaching assignment will be matched to the candidate's licensure and professional experience. Courses meet face-to-face for classroom instruction. Applicants must meet the minimum educational requirements listed in order to be considered for the pool of qualified candidates. All decisions are made upon the discretion of the department. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements are not automatically accepted to teach at Viterbo University.
Requirements
- Applicants must be a Licensed Professional Counselor with at least 2 years of clinical experience
- Applicants are required to hold a master's degree from a CACREP-accredited program
- Applicants are expected to use university email, Office 365, and the online student learning platform, Moodle
- Applicants should upload a cover letter indicating the area of discipline, along with a current vita
- If recommended for a position, official transcripts and a background check will be required prior to the issuance of a contract
