About The Position
The Pittsburg State University School of History, Philosophy, and Social Sciences is accepting applications for a part-time, in-person, temporary Adjunct Lecturer to teach for the Fall/Spring semester with a specific need in Social Work.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in the field of study.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with online instruction.
- Instructor experience in higher education or with adult learners.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of and the ability to work with a course management system (Canvas)
- Doctorate degree from regionally accredited institution
- Evidence of teaching excellence, both in-person and online
- Interest and/or experience in teacher preparation
Responsibilities
- Teach in person and/or online sections at undergraduate level courses in the program areas identified.
