Washburn University's department of Modern Languages (Intensive English) invites applications for adjunct instructor(s). Requirements

  • Master's degree and minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), or equivalent.
  • Or
  • Master's degree with a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) or TESL certificate.
  • Demonstrated dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage all learners.
  • Official educational transcripts required during the offer process

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in TESOL, TESL or Curriculum/Instruction in English Language Teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Teach: IE102 Reading Comprehension for Academic Purposes II (low intermediate reading)
  • M/T/W/R 4:00 - 5:00 PM
