The English Department at Rockhurst University is looking for adjunct faculty to teach freshman composition in an in-person classroom setting during the Spring 2026 semester. Founded in 1910 and located in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri, Rockhurst is a Catholic university in the Jesuit tradition committed to providing inclusive, innovative, and transformative education. Applicants must have a Master’s degree or PhD in English or creative writing and must be committed to the student-centered teaching of writing, teaching that is aimed at helping students develop as critical thinkers and proficient writers.
