PENN STATE DICKINSON LAW in Carlisle and University Park, PA invites exceptional candidates to apply for short-term, part-time adjunct faculty appointments for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Semester s , in the areas of: Advanced Torts Artificial Intelligence in Legal Practice (experiential course proposals on the use of AI welcome) Bankruptcy Business Entities I : Unincorporated Business Entities Business Entities II: Corporations Client Counseling (criminal and/or civil client focuses welcome) Conflict of Laws Construction Law Corporate Finance Elder Law Electronic Evidence Environmental Law Externship Sections Federal Courts First Amendment General Counsel & In-House Legal Department Experience Health Law & Policy Intellectual Property Licensing Legal Research Moot Court and Mock Trial Team Coaches Negotiation/Mediation Payment Systems Race, Racism & the Law Real Estate Transactions Real Estate Negotiation & Drafting Restorative Justice Sales State and Local Government Law Transactional Drafting Trauma Informed Lawyering Wills, Trusts & Estates Other areas as needs arise In addition, Penn State Dickinson Law is always interested in increasing attorney or judge taught experiential learning courses . Requirements
- Applicants should have: A distinguished record of law practice in the subject matter or experience teaching the course subjects.
- Scholarly or professional publications to the relevant field of law.
- Participation and leadership in bar association or other professional organizations related to the subject matter.
- A J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school.
- Superior academic credentials.
