About The Position

Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach technical mathematics, quantitative reasoning, and algebra-based courses. The instructor will deliver and use a learning management system. The courses are a combination of day and evening classes and are on-ground at our Auburn campus.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in mathematics or a related field (e.g., statistics, physics), or a Master’s degree with an additional 18 graduate-level credit hours in mathematics.
• Experience teaching college-level mathematics or relevant field experience.
• Familiarity with Brightspace or other Learning Management Systems.
• A strong enthusiasm and passion for student learning, with the ability to respond to students' needs using a variety of teaching methods
