About The Position

This is a part-time, one-semester contract position for an Adjunct Instructor in the College of Humanities and Sciences at Thomas Jefferson University. The role involves teaching "American Visions," a first-year course that explores foundational texts in American Literature. The successful candidate is expected to be a dynamic and experienced teacher who applies active student-learning methods in the classroom. The course will be offered in-person on the East Falls campus, with two sections available. Classes are scheduled to begin on August 24th, and final grades are due by December 21st. Requirements

• Qualified to teach "American Visions," a first-year course exploring a foundational text in American Literature
• Dynamic and experienced teacher
• Ability to apply active student-learning methods in the classroom
