The Division of Math, Science, Technology, and Health offers a variety of academic programs that prepare students to transfer competitively to baccalaureate institutions or to enter the workforce directly in some of the fastest growing fields in the job market. The Division of Math, Science, Technology, and Health encompasses a variety of disciplines, including astronomy, chemistry, biology, computer science, computer information systems, environmental science, healthcare, mathematics, nutrition, and physics. The cornerstone of our faculty's teaching is student success, so our classes regularly incorporate equitable teaching and learning strategies and applied learning projects. As faculty, you will empower our students to achieve success by helping them develop their competencies through innovative education. The Division of Math, Science, Technology, and Health offers the following degrees and certificate programs that are some of the fastest growing areas of the job market: A.S. Degrees in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Math and Science, Nursing in coordination with Belanger School of Nursing, Nutrition, Programming for Game Design, Science, and Science with a Biology Concentration. A.A.S. Degrees in Biological Technician, Computer Information Systems, and Computer Networking Systems and Cyber Security Certificates in Computer Repair and Networking, Health Studies, and Medical Coding and Billing We are currently accepting adjunct applications in all course content areas, with a particular interest in the following: Anatomy and Physiology Biology Biotechnology Microbiology Chemistry Computer Science Computer Information Systems Computer Repair and Networking Mathematics Nutrition Physics Programming for Game Design Reporting to the Division Dean, the Adjunct Instructor position provides part-time course instruction in a specific content area. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have background that includes virtual, online teaching and experience implementing student-centered instructional strategies.
