About The Position

The Division of Humanities seeks an adjunct instructor for teaching in-person introductory courses in Spanish. Program and course descriptions can be found at https://www.methodist.edu/academics/program/spanish/courses/ Responsibilities: Teach SPA 1010 and SPA 1020 (Elementary Spanish I and II) in an active, student-centered way. Hold regular office hours to support students and address their questions and concerns in a timely manner. Required Materials: Cover letter, CV, and transcripts (unofficial copies are acceptable for application purposes). The review of applicants will begin immediately, and applications will be accepted and reviewed for future adjunct opportunities beyond the Fall semester of 2026. Requirements

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Spanish or comparable field.

• Preference will be given to those with teaching experience.
