About The Position

The Division of Physical and Computational Sciences is currently seeking applicants for a Part-Time, Adjunct Instructor of Engineering for Spring Term 2026. Responsibilities: Applicants for this position must be able to teach classes offered for Pitt-Bradford's four-year Mechanical Engineering Technology Program with Engineering Design (Fusion 360), CAD/CAE (Solid Works), Engineering Computing (Matlab), Finite Element Analysis (Solid Works) skills preferred. Candidates who have experience working with college students from varied backgrounds and applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
  • a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates

Nice To Haves

  • Engineering Design (Fusion 360) skills preferred
  • CAD/CAE (Solid Works) skills preferred
  • Engineering Computing (Matlab) skills preferred
  • Finite Element Analysis (Solid Works) skills preferred
