About The Position

RESIDENTIAL ADJUNCT ORU offers a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance degree. We are currently looking for highly qualified Dance Adjunct Faculty.

Requirements

• Qualifications: M.A. or M.F.A. degree in Dance required. Alternative certification based on an established record of professional experience in the field may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Candidates must have the ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: (Ballet emphasis) beginning through pre-professional level ballet technique, intermediate to advanced pointe, choreography, dance forms (world dance and/or social dance forms), dance history, pedagogy, improvisation, dance for worship, restaging of classical and/or choreographing contemporary ballet repertoire for ensemble.
• (Modern emphasis) beginning through pre-professional modern technique, choreography, dance forms (world dance and/or social dance forms), dance history, pedagogy, improvisation, dance for worship, and choreographing new work for ensemble.
