About The Position

George Fox University's Art & Design Program announces an adjunct position specializing in Interior Design. The Adjunct Interior Design Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in interior design courses, fostering a creative and collaborative learning environment. This role involves teaching undergraduate courses, assessing student work, and supporting the mission of the Interior Design program. Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in Interior Design or a related field
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Escape, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States. This position does not offer visa sponsorship; therefore, only applicants who do not require sponsorship for employment visas, now or at any point in the future, should apply.
  • A commitment to the University's Theology of Racial and Ethnic Diversity.

Nice To Haves

  • NCIDQ, LEED, or other professional accreditations related to Interior Design.
  • Previous teaching experience.
