Adjunct Instructor - Dance/Movement Therapy
About The Position
Utah Valley University is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Introduction to Dance/Movement Therapy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Plans, prepares, and follows an approved course of study with measurable objectives for each course taught. Prepares instructional materials, evaluates instruction and learning by means of written, oral, practical and performance tests Maintains a student-oriented approach to teaching Submits student grades and all requested departmental materials in a timely manner. Attends mandatory adjunct meetings.
Requirements
- A degree from an approved program by the American Dance Therapists Association, meeting the requirements for a Registered Dance Movement Therapist.
- Experience working as a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited college or university and teaching experience.
- Evidence of teaching excellence and expertise in dance/movement therapy.
