About The Position

The Adjunct Faculty position is designed to provide high-quality, part-time instructional support within the educational services sector, focusing on courses that integrate Adobe Creative Suite tools. The primary goal is to deliver engaging and comprehensive instruction that equips students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge applicable to creative industries. This role involves developing curriculum, preparing lesson plans, and assessing student performance to ensure learning objectives are met effectively. The faculty member will collaborate with department colleagues to continuously improve course content and stay current with industry trends. Ultimately, this position aims to foster a dynamic learning environment that encourages student growth, creativity, and professional readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Prior teaching or training experience in an academic or professional setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse student populations.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a part-time faculty role.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience teaching at the post-secondary level.
• Familiarity with emerging digital design tools and trends.
• Experience with online or hybrid course delivery methods.
• Professional portfolio demonstrating expertise in Adobe Creative Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures and hands-on training sessions utilizing Adobe Creative Suite applications.
• Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments aligned with industry standards.
• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student work to support their academic and professional development.
• Maintain regular communication with students to address questions, provide guidance, and support their learning journey.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and program improvement initiatives.
