Requirements

  • M.A., Ph.D. or AuD required.

Responsibilities

  • Undergraduate teaching of audiology courses including hearing science.
  • Ability to instruct students in the structure and function of the hearing mechanism and the application of principles of physics to the measurement of hearing.
  • Topics include the nature of sound, perception of sound, current theories of audition, frequency, intensity, the decibel scale, pure tones, noise, spectrum, psychoacoustics, binaural hearing, and localization.
