Teach in one of the following subject areas as assigned: BSN, BSN Accelerated, BSN Evening and Weekend; ADN, ADN LPN-RN Transition ) This is a pool position. Applicants will be contacted as positions become available. The position reports to the department head/program director/dean who assigns responsibilities regarding student needs and course outcomes.

Requirements

  • Qualifications of instructors teaching in the classroom for both lower and/or upper-level courses leading to an associate or bachelor’s degree requires a master’s degree in the discipline or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in the subject area.
  • Courses leading to a master’s require a doctorate degree.
  • Adjunct faculty with a clinical assignment must be prepared at the level required by accreditation.
  • Instructors in occupational and technical areas are generally required to have a minimum of an associate’s degree and related work experience.
  • Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for part of these requirements.
