The University of Baltimore School of Law welcomes applications for adjunct faculty to teach in a range of courses, including doctrinal and skills-based subjects. We hire adjuncts on as-needed basis, and when we do, we seek teachers who love engaging students in the study of law, who prioritize classroom interactions, and who can structure thoughtful assessments of the students. We also seek teachers who will be responsive to the minimum administrative requirements of the job, including timely submission of syllabi, submission and grading of assessments, and maintenance of course Canvas pages. Adjunct faculty are also welcome to participate in faculty scholarship and teaching workshops, although participation is strictly voluntary.
