Requirements

A relevant terminal degree.
Relevant ministry experience.
Demonstrated expertise in subject matter and commitment to student learning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to integrating faith and learning within the academic discipline.
Legal authorization to work in the United States. This position does not offer visa sponsorship; therefore, only applicants who do not require sponsorship for employment visas, now or at any point in the future, should apply.
A commitment to the University's Theology of Racial and Ethnic Diversity.

Nice To Haves

Previous teaching experience in higher education.
Familiarity with online and hybrid teaching modalities.

Proficiency with Canvas Content Management System, Zoom, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

Teach courses in alignment with the university's mission and learning objectives.
Develop and implement effective instructional strategies that promote student engagement.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
Utilize the university's learning management system (Canvas) for course management.
Maintain professionalism and adhere to university policies.
Communicate effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect, and service.
Serve as a Christian role model to students, both inside and outside the classroom.
Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility.
Other duties as assigned.
