About The Position

The Toy Design department is recruiting a pool of applicants for possible adjunct teaching positions. Successful candidates will teach one or more of the following courses: Introduction to Toy Design Drafting and Technical Drawing Advanced Hard Toy: Design & Engineering Advanced Computer Graphics in Toy Design Adjunct instructors deliver relevant course material, assess student performance, provide guidance and assistance to students both in and out of the classroom, and submit grades on time. Course descriptions are available in the online catalog.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
• Relevant 6 years of industry experience and or its equivalent.
• Ability to instruct and ensure the safe use of tools and machinery and successfully communicate conceptual ideas for class projects through lectures and visual presentations.
• Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Solid Works and 3D Printing.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of teaching experience at the college level.
• Master of Fine Arts degree or equivalent.
