The Global Fashion Management (GFM) Master of Professional Studies program seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Organizational Leadership. This course provides graduate students with a survey of leadership theory and a practical framework for developing effective leadership behaviors within complex, global organizations. The course emphasizes "positive leadership" models and experiential learning through self-assessment, peer feedback, and applied case analysis. The ideal candidate will bring extensive professional experience leading teams, managing organizational change, and fostering leadership development in fashion, luxury, or related creative industries. The adjunct faculty member is expected to bridge theory and practice drawing on real-world leadership experiences, current industry challenges, and practical insights to create a dynamic and relevant learning environment. Students will explore motivation, negotiation, ethics, purpose, and the relationship between crisis and opportunity in leadership contexts. This course is taught one evening per week to accommodate working professionals. Adjunct instructors deliver relevant course material, assess student performance, provide guidance and assistance to students both in and out of the classroom, and submit grades in a timely manner.
