About The Position

We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach SPAC 515- Cybersecurity Applications in Space. Course Description Cybersecurity as it relates to both military and civilian space system applications. Reviews cybersecurity principles; space system design, manufacturing, and operational considerations; technical and environmental constraints for both planetary orbits and deep space trajectories; cyber threats and attack vectors; risk mitigation and resilience; cybersecurity standards and regulations. Applicable Professional Certification DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certifications (https://public.cyber.mil/cw/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications/) Qualifications Doctorate with a dissertation in teaching discipline, or a Doctorate degree with a dissertation within concentration that is in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline). Desired Professional Training or Experience Specific industry, military or university training, or experience in cybersecurity, ideally within the aerospace industry, including conducting or managing cybersecurity programs in operational settings.
