About The Position
We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach SPAC 525- Space Law and Policy. Course Description The complex interplay between geopolitics, international law, and national space innovation systems which underlies all space activities will be examined. Divided into 3 segments: 1) the geopolitical history of space, 2) principles of space law, and 3) national space innovation systems. Requirements
- Doctorate with a dissertation in teaching discipline, or a Doctorate degree with a dissertation within concentration that is in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
- Applicable Professional Certification Board certification in aviation law.
- Degrees Within the Teaching Discipline Legal Studies Political Science International Relations Public Administration Engineering (Aerospace/Aeronautical/Astronautical) Science (Aerospace/Aeronautical/Astronautical)
Nice To Haves
- Specific industry, military or university training, or experience in aerospace law including: international treaties, aerospace policy development, business law environment for aerospace.
