Job Description We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach SPAC 512- Human Spaceflight Industry. Course Description Introduction to launch, mission operations, and facilities for crewed and uncrewed missions at U.S. and foreign sites. Satellite and spacecraft launch facility system discussion covers safety, meteorology, communications, and tracking, as well as navigation and control systems. Examples of mission control, operations, and systems include spacecraft project descriptions and control site operations. U.S. mission operations include NASA, DoD, and commercial space operations and launch sites. Legacy spacecraft operations including the Space Shuttle (STS) and Russian Soyuz examined along with future commercial space transportation programs. Join the Aviation and Aerospace vanguard! Requirements

  • Specific industry, military or university training or experience in Aeronautics, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, Physics, or Astronomy.
  • Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training.
  • Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California.
  • ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases.
  • If selected for this role, the candidate will be required to provide proof of stated qualifications. This includes, but is not limited to, official transcripts, copies of professional licenses/certifications, documentation of military experience, and/or verified professional industry related experience.
