About The Position

School of Arts and Sciences Adjunct Faculty-MFT Didactic Position Overview: An adjunct faculty is a non-core faculty member who holds a short-term (contracted) position with the University with the primary responsibility of providing instruction within the MFT or PCC programs. This faculty member primarily instructs students in didactic courses of the MFT or PCC curriculum.

Requirements

  • PhD, PsyD, DMFT, MA, or MS in Marriage & Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • At least one year of online teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience teaching research or psychopharmacology
  • Relational/Systemic training
  • At least one year of experience working with non-traditional students
  • Prior experience working with a diverse community

Responsibilities

  • Teaching duties, mentoring, or supervising students.
  • Preparing and delivering course content or assessments.
  • Collaborating with faculty or staff for curriculum planning.
  • Utilizing specific technologies or tools (e.g., LMS, video platforms).
  • Attending required meetings, training, or development sessions.
