About The Position
New England College seeks part-time faculty to teach graduate courses in online Education courses.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education
- State licensure in the area of the course (Literacy)
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of effective and innovative pedagogy, curriculum design and learning outcome alignment
- Experience in the K-12 setting
- Prior teaching and proven record of teaching effectiveness
Responsibilities
- Engage all students to facilitate and achieve course learning outcomes
- Review and grade all work submitted by students and provide timely and substantive feedback
- Coach struggling students toward success
- Provide "experiential learning" opportunities whenever possible
- Deliver content that aligns with research and best practices in the field
