About The Position

The Radiologic Technology Program is seeking adjunct faculty to join the Radiologic Technology Department as an MRI instructor. Essential Duties: Teach online MRI procedures course as needed in the Fall semester. Lead/participate in weekly online (synchronous and asynchronous) discussions with students Possess a commitment to student engagement, student success, and instructional excellence. Maintain current knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and utilize a variety of instructional delivery methods, classroom media, and educational resources. Maintain expertise and certifications appropriate to teaching responsibilities. Grade and provide detailed feedback on all assignments within a timely manner. Actively respond to student emails and requests within 24 hours. Provide course syllabus (which shall include grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline and contact information) Verify student enrollment and submit grades

Requirements

• Registered ARRT (R)(MR)
• Licensed in the state of Illinois (IEMA)
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of employment as an MRI Technologist
• At least 1 year teaching MRI or related courses, with experience teaching virtually
