About The Position

The Division of Humanities and Learning Communities is looking to hire Adjunct Faculty staff members to teach for the Communication Department for by in-person and Hybrid in-person/web courses. Ability to teach COM 171 Public Speaking and Professional Communication. Courses offerings are fully in-person and Hybrid in person/web on campus (Charlestown and Chelsea campuses) Monday-Saturday 7:00a.m. to 10:00p.m.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Communication or a related field.
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
• Teaching experience at the college level, with community college teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to teach courses on campus in an in-person setting at BHCC's Charlestown or Chelsea campuses.
• Effective communication skills needed.
• Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.
