HU seeks a part-time/adjunct faculty member to teach our undergraduate General Chemistry lectures and labs courses for this upcoming Spring 2026 semester, and beyond. The Harrisburg University Bachelor of Science in Chemistry program produces well-prepared graduates with both foundational biology knowledge as well as advanced laboratory and instrumental skills. Practical technical laboratory and research skills needed to enter the STEM workforce, graduate school, or professional school are highlights of the program. What Sets Us Apart? At Harrisburg University, students in the Chemistry program don't just learn science - they do science. With access to state-of-the-art instrumentation that meets American Chemical Society (ACS) requirements, our students gain hands-on experience using the same tools found in modern research labs, pharmaceutical companies, environmental testing centers, and forensic laboratories. From their first year onward, students train on advanced equipment used in careers such as biomedical research and biotechnology, pharmaceutical analysis and formulation, and material science and nanotechnology. All of this happens in labs equipped with essential safety and sustainability features, ensuring our students learn in an environment that reflects real-world standards and evolving "green science" expectations. Interested candidates should forward a cover letter, CV, teaching philosophy, and research statement. Join us at Harrisburg University and be part of programs that are shaping the future of data science and analytics!
