About The Position

The Chemistry Department seeks an Adjunct faculty member. Teaching assignments would include lecture and laboratory instruction in General Chemistry and/or Organic Chemistry courses for both science and non-science majors.

Requirements

• A candidate for this position must have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
• A Master's Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
• One year of teaching Chemistry at the college level
• Familiarity with the use of technology in instruction is a plus
• Commitment to excellent teaching and to the goals of a community college is sought
• The successful candidate should have a strong desire to interact with a culturally diverse student body

Nice To Haves

• A Doctorate in Chemistry or Biochemistry is strongly preferred
