The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University is seeking applications for a non-tenure track part-time faculty lecturer in Analytics, Bachelor of Science, to teach on-campus and online undergraduate-level courses on the Oakland campus. Instructional areas include data analytics (with expertise in data exploration and data engineering), probability and statistics, machine learning, data visualization, database management systems, data mining, predictive analytics, and artificial intelligence. The Bachelor of Professional Studies in Analytics program aims to develop foundational analytics skills among working professionals, covering data preparation, analysis, modeling, prediction, forecasting, optimization, data-driven decision-making, visualization, and storytelling, along with relevant tools and technologies. This degree prepares students for entry and mid-level roles in analytics, machine learning, data science, data engineering, and AI across various professional domains and disciplines. The program emphasizes experiential learning linked to professional applications. The College of Professional Studies, founded in 1960, is one of ten colleges at Northeastern University, offering lifelong experiential learning to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students in over 90 programs.
