About The Position

Position Purpose Under the supervision of the Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) School Program Director, primary responsibilities include teaching Cardiovascular Technology School classes. What you will do Teach Invasive Technology and Ultrasound courses assigned by the Program Director. Be familiar with the goals of the program and be able to demonstrate the ability to develop an organized plan of instruction and evaluation. Actively engage in retention activities including documented communication with both students and administration regarding attendance and progress. Assist students with course registration and academic advice as requested by the Program Director. Provide assistance in the planning, development and maintenance of program curricula. Requirements

Education: Minimum of an associate’s degree in health sciences is required, bachelor’s degree is preferred
Licensure: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Licensure required for RCIS based lectures.
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Licensure required for Adult Cardiac Ultrasound lectures.
Certification: Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) Licensure required for Vascular Ultrasound lectures.
