About The Position

JCCC is looking for applicants for a part-time adjunct position in the Physics Department. The ideal candidate would be expected to instruct students in lecture and lab for Physics Courses. The ideal candidate would need to be able to teach face-to-face for Summer 2026. The teaching assignment is for a section of College Physics in the evenings, Monday through Thursday. All applications must be be submitted to the JCCC jobs portal.

Requirements

  • Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Physics.
  • Computer literacy including ability to communicate and develop teaching materials and enter grades electronically.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the use of appropriate computer software.
  • Demonstrate fluency in written and oral communications.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the use related equipment.
  • One year of college-level teaching experience in Physics courses.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate degree in Physics.
