About The Position

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Project Lead, Additive Manufacturing (AM) Security Assessment with a TS/SCI Security clearance to support KITS and our government customer at the Mark Center, Alexandria, VA. This position is hybrid. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Task Lead to build and guide a specialized team focused on the security of additive manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of operational technology and AM technologies, cybersecurity principles, and risk assessment methodologies. This role is pivotal in establishing a comprehensive framework for identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities within an AM ecosystem.

Requirements

Clearance:
TS/SCI Security clearance.
Education:
Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Management).
Experience:
A minimum of 15 years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and preferred expertise in cybersecurity.
Skills:
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment.
Demonstrated experience in building and leading technical teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration with internal and external partners.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership:
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of security engineers and analysts.
Framework Development:
Spearhead the creation and implementation of a robust AM Security Assessment Framework.
Partnership Identification:
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with academic institutions, industry leaders, and government bodies to enhance our security posture.
Vulnerability Assessment:
Oversee the identification and analysis of potential security vulnerabilities in our AM processes, from design to production.
Corrective Action Planning:
Develop a plan and implement prioritization of potential corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
Reporting:
Regularly report on the team's findings, progress, and the overall security posture of our AM operations to senior leadership.
