About The Position

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Project Lead, Additive Manufacturing (AM) Security Assessment with a TS/SCI Security clearance to support KITS and our government customer at the Mark Center, Alexandria, VA. This position is hybrid. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Task Lead to build and guide a specialized team focused on the security of additive manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of operational technology and AM technologies, cybersecurity principles, and risk assessment methodologies. This role is pivotal in establishing a comprehensive framework for identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities within an AM ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Clearance:
  • TS/SCI Security clearance.
  • Education:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Management).
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and preferred expertise in cybersecurity.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of security engineers and analysts.
  • Framework Development:
  • Spearhead the creation and implementation of a robust AM Security Assessment Framework.
  • Partnership Identification:
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with academic institutions, industry leaders, and government bodies to enhance our security posture.
  • Vulnerability Assessment:
  • Oversee the identification and analysis of potential security vulnerabilities in our AM processes, from design to production.
  • Corrective Action Planning:
  • Develop a plan and implement prioritization of potential corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
  • Reporting:
  • Regularly report on the team's findings, progress, and the overall security posture of our AM operations to senior leadership.
