About The Position

The Additive Manufacturing Technician is a dynamic position whose function is to support the 3D printing process for: rapid prototyping, production parts and tooling. Removing support structures. Performing secondary finishing operations such as polishing, reaming and straightening. Prepping machines for operation. Material change overs. 3D Printer operation and day to day maintenance. Parts removal and cleanup. Maintain the schedule for multiple printers and builds. Other duties as required to maintain the business continuity.

Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-3 years of prior related experience.
Experience working with basic tools(Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges)
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Basic knowledge and navigation of MSOffice (Excel/Word).

Nice To Haves

Previous Manufacturing Experience is preferred, but not essential.
Experience with 3D Metal Printers such as EOS, Phenix/3DS, Concept Laser or SLM.
Metal finishing techniques.
CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming.
Understanding of materials, properties, laser welding.
Experience with Aerospace and/or Defense industries
High School Diploma or Equivalent strongly preferred
